Tel Aviv, Israel - Health authorities in Israel have issued a warning to the public after four toddlers in Tel Aviv were diagnosed with measles. The children are all around two years old and attend the same daycare center. A fifth child is suspected of being infected but this has not yet been confirmed.

All of the children are in good condition, but health officials are concerned about the potential for a wider outbreak. Measles is a highly contagious disease that can cause serious complications, especially in young children.

The Health Ministry is conducting an epidemiological investigation to trace the outbreak's source. Initial findings suggest that one of the children may have been infected on a flight from Budapest to Israel on September 27. The ministry is contacting passengers and crew who were on the flight to update them and inform them of procedures related to the outbreak.

Health officials are urging parents to make sure their children are up to date on their measles vaccinations. The measles vaccine is safe and effective and the best way to protect children from this serious disease.
